Who it is for and what they use it for
Students
Turn a recorded lecture transcript or a long chapter into revision notes before an exam. Cornell cue questions double as flashcards for self-testing.

Researchers and Lifelong Learners
Condense papers, articles and course readings into summary notes with the key terms defined, so a source is quick to review weeks later.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions people ask
How does the AI notes generator work?
Paste your text, pick a format and click Generate Notes. The AI reads the whole text, groups it by topic and writes study notes in the format you chose: an outline with headings and bullets, Cornell notes with cue questions and a summary, or short summary notes with key terms.
Is the notes generator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up. Free use covers 10 requests a day, shared across every Primo Notes AI tool, and the allowance resets every 24 hours. Each run takes up to 15,000 characters of text.
What are Cornell notes?
Cornell notes split a page into a narrow cue column and a wider notes column, with a summary at the bottom. The cues are questions or keywords you cover the notes with to test yourself, which makes the method good for exam revision. The generator writes them as a two-column table followed by a short summary.
What text can I turn into notes?
Lecture transcripts, YouTube or podcast transcripts, articles, textbook chapters, research papers, meeting minutes and your own rough notes. Messy spoken transcripts work: the generator skips filler words, repetitions and off-topic remarks.
Will the notes be accurate?
The generator is told to use only what your source says and to keep every number, date, name and formula exactly as written, so it does not add outside facts. It can still miss a nuance, so check anything you will be graded on against the original.
Can I make notes from a recording instead of text?
This web tool works on text. The Primo Notes app records a lecture or meeting, transcribes it and turns it into notes, flashcards and a quiz on your phone, so you can skip the copy and paste.
Can I use the notes in Notion or Obsidian?
Yes. Copy the notes or download them as a Markdown file. Headings, bullet lists and tables keep their structure when pasted into Notion, Obsidian, Google Docs and most notes apps.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the page, paste your text and generate notes. There is no sign-up and no personal information to enter.
